Volunteer Community City Lead
What is a City Lead?
City Leads champion the Canadian Women’s Network in their respective communities, using their superpowers to connect local female founders online and in person. City Leads believe in the power and importance of our women-led community of over 670 members and support our shared mission to help founders build locally and scale globally.
Our 2023 focus is centered around driving impact for Canadian female-led startups. We hope that City Leads embrace a similar mantra. It’s not about helping founders inch along their journey, but instead, helping them move a mile.
What do City Leads Receive?
As a Thank You, our team will profile & champion City Leads within our network and social media channels. City Leads will have the opportunity to host local events and represent CWN at a regional & national level. So too, we aim to foster a sense of community amongst City Leads - creating an influential network across Canada. Finally, we are delighted to offer City Leads free Growth Membership for 2023 and discounts on upcoming CWN programs (Fundraising Accelerator, Pathway to Silicon Valley, etc.). We also invite you to include the CWN City Lead role on your LinkedIn profile.
