🎙️About Group Pitch:

This is a pitch practice session that is specifically designed for startups that are looking to raise venture funding in the next 6 to 9 months. 

This session is capped at 3 startups and more of a lightning-style approach. The investor will open up the discussion with his/her background and experience. Then, each startup has 15 minutes to practice pitching and receive feedback. 

Ready to sign-up? Registration is on a first-come,first-serve basis. Please indicate your interest and what you hope to get out of this session. We will prioritize the members that haven't attended 2 mentor/pitch sessions in the past 30 days.

Lori-Ann Christie has 20+ years’ experience in academic and industrial R&D. In 2021, she joined Visionary Ventures where she identifies investment opportunities, conducts diligence, and provides guidance to portfolio companies. Previously, she was Director, Eye Care Research at Allergan/AbbVie. She received her B.Sc. from McGill University and her Ph.D. from University of Toronto. She is an expert in preclinical pharmacology and has authored publications on retinal disease models, age-related neurodegeneration, and stem cell therapeutics.
