This is a pitch practice session and specifically designed for startups that are looking to raise venture funding in the next 6 to 9 months.
It's capped at 3 startups and more of a lightning-style approach. The investor will open up the discussion with his/her background and experience, then each startup has 10 minutes to practice pitching and receive feedback.

Kookai Chaimahawong is an ESG Partner at UpperStage Capital, an impact-focused buyout fund with ESG management. Throughout her career, Kookai has been known for her curiosity, bold vision, and ability to translate ideas into reality. Her work expanded from launching an award-winning technology start-up, forming partnerships at the United Nations, and most recently investing in hard-tech companies at an impact venture capital fund.
Kookai sits on the Board of the VEF (Vancouver Entrepreneurs' Forum) and is a committee member at the Canadian Women in VC. When not investing, she devotes her time to championing more diversity and inclusion in the world of venture capital and startup communities with a deeply rooted conviction that the rising tide lifts all boats. She's a regular speaker and mentor at various organizations around the world.
